Welcome to the Northridge UMC Youth Group, where we strive to create a supportive and welcoming community for young people to grow in their faith and build lasting friendships. Our group meets on Sunday evenings twice a month, from 6-7:30 PM. We are proud to have Jordan Clawson and Emily Terry as our youth leaders, both of whom are committed to helping young people explore their faith and serve our community.

Jordan Clawson is a Student Respiratory Therapist at Dayton Children's Hospital and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at Boise State University online. He has been a member of Northridge United Methodist Church his entire life and was part of the youth group for seven years. Emily Terry is a Nursing student at Wittenberg University and works as a nursing assistant at Dayton Children's Hospital. She too has been part of the youth group for seven years and is a lifelong member of Northridge United Methodist Church. Both Jordan and Emily are passionate about helping young people build a solid foundation of faith while having fun and making a positive impact in our community.

At our meetings, we spend the majority of the time discussing upcoming events, plans, and fundraisers. We believe in the importance of service, so we dedicate a portion of our meetings to studying the Bible and doing fun faith learning activities. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded experience that combines faith, friendship, and community service.

We take pride in organizing a variety of community events throughout the year, including Rally Day, Parents Night Out, NUMC Easter Egg Hunt, Rock-A-Thon, Christmas caroling, and a bonfire to end the year. These events are not only fun but also help our youth group members develop important life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication.

If you're interested in joining our youth group, we would love to welcome you into our community. Our youth group is open to young people from all walks of life, and we believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute. Whether you're new to the faith or have been a lifelong believer, our youth group is a safe and supportive space to explore your faith and build lasting friendships.

At Northridge UMC Youth Group, we believe that forgiveness, belief, and creation are the keys to a fulfilling life. We encourage our members to forgive their younger selves, believe in their current selves, and create their future selves.
