Welcome to Northridge U.M. Church. Today, Pastor Karen will be making us think about the many schisms which have happened since the Church began, giving the world over 4200 different religions in the world and as of 2025, around 50,000 denominations or rites to choose from. Is this what God intended for the Church? Maybe it is something which has made you say hhmmmm….a time or two!

1 Corinthians 1:10 says, “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.”

Other scriptures for the day may include: Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 9:38-41; 1 Corinthians 1:10-15; Galatians 1:6-10; Philippians 1:27.
