Welcome to Northridge UM Church. This Sunday Pastor Karen Crawford will lead us into the Advent season with a message about how we can prepare ourselves for the coming Christ, and the HOPE that He brings to the world!

During this season you may want to:

Read through the Advent/Christmas stories in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John,

Read the NUMC Advent devotional each day,

Pray, give alms, worship, and fast,

Come to the Blue Christmas svc. if you’ve lost someone,

Make or purchase an Advent wreath & candle set and light it with family,

Decorate your home and your heart for Christ’s arrival,

As you decorate for the season, clear out and donate your clutter,

Listen to Advent and Christmas music, &

Be in worship each Sunday of Advent, plus Christmas Eve!

Advent is the 24-day season leading up to Christmas Day. It is a time of waiting, preparing, hoping, and worshiping. Come and worship with NUMC!

Our readings for the day are from these texts: Isaiah 2:1-5, Psalm 122, Romans 13:11-14, Hebrews 9:27-28, & Matthew 24:36-44.
