Monthly Missions Collection

We are currently collecting donations for Christmas food and gift baskets. We are also gathering children’s and women’s coats for Open Hands-Free Store, so that no one has to be cold this fall or winter. Please give generously!

If you would like to help out with any of these mission ministries, we would love to have your help! These gifts can be dropped in at the church office, Monday - Thursday, 9am-1pm, or can be brought on Sunday morning and placed on the Missions Table in the Fellowship Hall.

Open Hands Free Pantry

The Open Hands-Free Pantry formerly known as the Open Hands-Free Store is in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 151 S Bird Rd Springfield OH. The pantry hours are Tuesdays, 10:00 am- 12:00pm and Thursdays, 2:00 pm -4:00 pm.

Northridge Church has been involved in this ministry since it began in 2008 as the Springfield Initiative. Currently Northridge Church volunteers help in the pantry packing food boxes, and three Northridge Church members serve on the Open Hands Pantry board of directors. Working through the Open Hands Pantry we can answer Jesus’ mandate to feed the hungry.
