To declare "I am saved by grace through faith" is a core Christian belief, rooted in the Bible, which means that salvation, or being reconciled with God and receiving eternal life, is not earned through any good works that you may have or are planning to do, but, instead, is a free gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ. 

Come and receive grace, and eternal life through your Savior, Christ Jesus.

Our readings for the day are from these texts: Ephesians 2:1-10; 2 Timothy 1:9 & Romans 10:9.
