Being chosen by God, in a religious context, means that an individual is singled out for a special purpose or relationship with God, often involving a Divine calling and a path of service. It implies a unique connection with the Divine, marked by a sense of value, identity, and purpose. It means being set apart for God's work or a particular mission.

The scripture for the day: Matthew 4:18-22; John 15:13-17; Ephesians 1:3-11; and 1 Peter 2:9-10.
